How We Rank Clinics
Short version: clinics sort by verifiable numbers — price per implant first — never by who pays us. Here's the whole method, including its current limits.
where the data comes from
- Published clinic pricing — price lists and per-procedure rates from clinics' own websites. Every clinic profile links the source its numbers came from.
- Clinic-owned sources only — a clinic enters the directory only when its data can be traced to something the clinic itself published. No scraped review-site guesses.
- Implant brands and materials — recorded from the clinic's own claims (Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Osstem, generic; composite vs porcelain vs zirconia), because the hardware is half the price question.
what "verified" means
Every listed clinic carries a verified badge, and each profile shows the year it was checked. The badge means one specific thing: when the clinic entered the directory, its prices and details were traced to the clinic's own published sources — never a review-site guess — and that source is linked on the profile. The check is the entry ticket, not a decoration.
What it does not mean: that the price is a live quote for your case, or that we monitor the clinic continuously. Prices drift; every figure is a published range, not a promise. We re-check when a reader flags an error — corrections ship fast — and re-verify clinics as the directory matures. Read the badge as "checked against real sources," then get your own case quoted in writing.
ranking rules
- Default sort is price per implant, cheapest first — the one number that makes clinics comparable.
- Filters (city, country, procedure, brand, budget) narrow the same list; they never inject anyone.
- Money cannot change order. Clinics may pay us per quote request you choose to send — that's how the site stays free for you — but paying clinics sort by the same numbers as everyone else. If we ever add labeled sponsored slots, they'll say so on the page.
- Medical claims stay deliberately conservative. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
current limits (honesty section)
- Coverage is young: Los Algodones is seeded and verified; Tijuana, Cancún and Turkey's cities are being added. A thin directory beats a padded one.
- We rank prices and disclosure, not surgical skill. We can tell you a clinic publishes $1,200 implants with Straumann hardware. We cannot tell you the surgeon is good — nobody can, from a database.
- No outcome data. A site that invents an outcome number is lying to you. Patient-verified prices and reviews are on the roadmap; until they exist, we don't pretend.
- No dental professional reviews our content yet — a DDS reviewer is planned as the site grows. Until then we cite sources and stay out of clinical judgment.
